Physical therapy (PT) provides skilled treatment serving the unique needs of pediatric clients and their families to create individually designed activities to help infants, children or adolescents to perform functionally and to achieve/restore mobility at the highest level possible.

Therapy provides skilled treatment for infants and children who need special help developing or regaining large movement skills such as rolling, sitting up, crawling, walking, running and jumping, and age-appropriate gross motor play. therapy is also indicated for children having difficulties with balance, coordination, weakness of the trunk or extremities, tight or spastic muscles, motor planning, or motor control.

Our services included all types and sizes

The therapist provides individualized assessment and often early detection of challenges. Treatments are play-based and are unique to the developmental level of each child. Sessions may include postural correction, therapeutic exercise, strengthening, balance and coordination training, flexibility training, cognitive and sensory processing/integration, and/or use of adaptive equipment such as wheelchairs, walkers, crutches, canes, or orthotics.

As with most problems in life, the sooner they are detected and addressed, the higher the success rate. This is especially true for children with special needs. We can help you address a mobility problem before it causes a reduction in functional abilities, low self-esteem, poor school performance, or strained peer and family relationships.
